Hi again :)

I saw Michael Franti + Spearhead for free last night. I was on the "Spearit street team" and handed out flyers that they never sent me, so I got a back stage after-show pass. Didn't hang out too long, but I met him and was tired so I headed home.

Great show, you can sense Michael's sincerity and his desire to help the world. The crowd was great too, really good peaceful energy. Much different than going to say a , Insane Clown Posse concert...which I'm not sure I could bear at this point in my life.

Anyway, I am still working with Amazon Herbs and I have started to build a good sized organization. If you havent checked my site or job opprotunity website out yet, I highly recommend you go there now - http://174486.amazonherb.net/LO_0_Main.aspx

And check out the matte tea sold there as well. It's a very uplifting beverage that's almost on par with raw cacao in it's happiness inducing effect. I highly recommend trying some. It's great to share with friends, especially if you get a matte "gourd" which just makes it more fun. It's very good for reducing anxiety and helping clear the mind, and most people could probably benefit from it.

You can read more about the tea here - http://174486.amazonherb.net/Group06_MatteTea.aspx

Peace :)

Alex

Hey everyone.

I'm just posting here to let you all know about my new amazon herb website - http://174486.amazonherb.net

I also have a myspace about amazon herbs you are welcome to befriend

http://www.myspace.com/amazonherbal  -

It has a very cool song on it too... East to the West by Michael Franti. The song gave me chills the first time I heard it, highly recommended. It also has a pic of me in hawaii eating my very first cacao fruit. Fresh cacao beans from the fruit are actually purple with no brown/black hues whatsoever...A very rare and special food, chocolate.

Amazon Herbs carries a great fair trade chocolate supplement product called chocamaca. Its very important to buy fair trade chocolate because some chocolate companies(hersheys and mars) are buying most of their cacao beans from the Ivory coast in Africa, where child slavery is very prevelant on cacao farms...Kids are paid very little if anything. It's not something you want to support if you can help it. Go fair trade and go organic, and check out chocamaca :)

If anyone has been wondering where Blackie is...he's on the road with his boyfriend. He's been to LA and a couple other places, and you might be able to see him on Price is Right January 11th, lol...

He sent me some Grateful Dead t-shirts in the mail, and a couple letters which were fun to get and read. That seems like the most appropriate way to get Grateful Dead t-shirts...passed down from a fellow dead-head instead of bought online. It shows you earned it somehow...If you can consider being put in a box by society so everyone treats you differenty earns...Haha I really enjoy a couple of the shirts though, and they'll come in handy when I go on tour next summer(ha ha..). I wore one to a drum circle I've been going to at a local pagan store here..which is a lotta fun. A big assortment of freaks, weirdos, wizards, and cute girls...A perfect blend of people really.

Almost done with my first set of college classes. Dropped Algebra due to lack of focus...Doing great otherwise. I got back a History test today witha  92. Feels good to do good. My mom is sendin me away to Hawaii for a New Years retreat with David Wolfe as a reward/Christmas present kinda thing.Definatley looking forward to that one...David Wolfe is in my opinion, one of the many high and truly inspired beings on the planet today. A bodhisattva of sorts...His karmas clean but he chose to reincarnate to help raise the vibration of the Earth that really needs it.

I've also been listening to a lot of Wayne Dyer I downloaded lately...Marianne Williamson too. Audio books rock. You dont have to focus and read to feel the satisfaction of reading..but you get all the benefits. You dont have to put any energy into getting the satisfaction, and you can get more that way cuz you dont get tired of reading like you would with a book. Not that I don't love to read...this is just something else I'm doing right now. I havent been listening to much music...it's all so disempowering and depressing, and it uses very weak language that doesn't really inspire me anymore... I feel like these audio books keep my mind sharp and stimulated and it carries through into other parts of my life...Keeping your mind sharp gives you an edge in life...
